Traditional afternoon tea as it should be; delicious finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and tray bakes in a historic country house set amongst stunning scenery.
Our afternoon tea menu is inspired by our wonderful local Mourne Honey, which we source from a local bee guru who operates a small apiary close by on the slopes of Slieve Donard mountain. The bees gather their pollen and nectar from the wonderful Mourne 'bell and ling heathers' on a good year, and also from fushia, sycamore, dandelion, bramble, clover, and blackberry bushes. The honey is harvested by hand using a spinner to extract the honey from the wax frames.
